Palestine: U-SOLVE is looking for a short term researcher
Palestine Ahliya University (PAU) is a private higher education institute registered under license number 14/HE2C/072007/. PAU among other partners has received a grant from the European Union under the umbrella of ENI CBC MED funding for a 30 months project entitled: U-SOLVE.
PAU is looking for a short term researcher to provide data collection, analysis, and reporting services
Project Brief: U-SOLVE shifts the start-up creation process towards an entrepreneurial sustainable development strategy, which bridges active policy for supporting entrepreneurship with the implementation of sustainable development goals at the urban level. The most urgent SDGs challenges in Mediterranean urban communities are forced into an open innovation pipeline that allows coalitions of entrepreneurial agents of change to emerge, creating qualified jobs and economic value, while supporting the transition towards a sustainable model.
Assignment Objective:
PAU is now considering the selection of a highly qualified research consultant to provide data collection, analysis, and reporting services. The consultant is expected to conduct a participatory process of conducting interviews with 50 stakeholders representing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Palestine dully filling the Arabic version of a survey to collect and analyze data providing for a meaningful final report. Stakeholders' input is an integral component of the survey design, data gathering, drafting of findings, reporting and results dissemination. The data collection should therefore focus not only on quantifiable results, but should also analyze processes and dynamics generated by current practices as well as integral inputs of the ecosystem road map drawing.
