Last Thursday, 18th March, the first webinar of the series of living labs launching in the different partner countries of the PPI4MED project took place. It was given by the Centro Nazionale della Ricerca of Italy and was very well received.

During the meeting, which was opened by Lucio D’Alessandro, Vice-president of CNR, Anna Maria Catte, head of ENI CBC Programme Management Authority, Ana Castro, Deputy Vice president of Knowledge Transfer of CSIC and Virginia Coda Nunziante, Head of CNR Unit for European and International Relations, there was an opportunity to discuss different aspects of the Italian innovation ecosystem, the commercialization of public research results, the importance of promoting young researchers and to present two lines of the National Research Plan that will implement in the next period.

The meeting also highlighted how the pandemic has changed the perception of science, giving it much more visibility and showing the way for the supply and demand of knowledge to meet.

Technology transfer, co-creation and interaction are fundamental to advance societies with the collaboration of all territorial agents.

If you could not attend the webinar, will a recording be available? Yes!  you can access to YouTube channel of the CNR UREI Unità Relazioni Europee e Internazionali. Here are the links to the Round Table and the PPI success stories and conclusions
