الأردن: إنضم إلى مختبرات iHERITAGE الحية حول الإبتكار وتقنيات تفسير التراث الثقافي

The Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship, and Creativity, Jordanian partner of the iHERITAGE project has launched its Living Labs Program on the 10th of April 2021.

The seminars have since been and will continue to be held on a weekly basis by professionals and experts in the fields of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, Holograms and most importantly the broader topic of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for the enhancement of experiences related to Intangible Cultural Heritage. 

Tourist guides, archaeologists, photographers as well as experts in flora and medicinal plants and more, will all play an integral part of the fruitful seminars targeting everyone who is interested in the creation of innovative technological products in virtual and augmented reality, contributing to more enhanced access to UNESO World Cultural Heritage especially in the Mediterranean and becoming part of the international iHERITAGE team. Expert speakers of different fields include Dr. Hani Hayajneh, Dr. Naif Haddad, Mr. Youssef Hilo, Dr. Fardous Ajlouni and more. Emphasis and focus of the seminars will largely be placed on the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra as the main pilot area for the implementation of the innovative iHERITAGE project activities.
