AQUACYCLE relaunches tender for eco-innovative wastewater treatment system in Tunisia

The Tunis International Center for Environmental Technologies (CITET) in the AQUACYCLE partnership has relaunched its tender for the construction of a pilot demonstration unit for the treatment of domestic wastewater at Bent Saidane in the Zaghouan Governorate in Tunisia.

The eco-innovative wastewater treatment system will consist of 3 components, i.e. (1) an anaerobic digestion unit, (2) a constructed wetland and (3) a solar treatment reactor for water disinfection and the photocatalytic oxidation of persistent organic pollutants.

The tender invites the conducting of the required studies, the conceptual design, engineering aspects, procurement, construction and the operationalization of the pilot demonstration unit.

The tender is being issued as a single lot with a provisional Warranty amounting to 10000 DT (Tunisian Dinar) and a specified approval rating category in line with Tunisian legislation in force.

The deadline for the submission of tender offers is set at 11 AM, 1st December 2022 (local time in Tunisia)
