The research teams of the Centre de Recherches et des Technologies des Eaux (CERTE) and the International Center for Environmental Technologies of Tunis (CITET) are pleased to announce the second series of workshops with Tunisian stakeholders, under the theme “Have your say in the development of action plans for the reuse of treated wastewater”.

Following brief presentations on the objectives of the ENI CBC Med Programme, and the objectives of the AQUACYCLE project, the workshop programme includes interactive sessions during which representatives of civil society (farmers, local officials, Local NGOs and citizens, especially women and young people) will be invited to express their perceptions and identify the problems and challenges related to the reuse of treated wastewater in their region as well as possible solutions to solve these.

The workshop will also be an opportunity for participants to draw a layout plan for wastewater reuse areas based on maps established by the project in an web-based geographic information system.

The workshop will take place in Bent Saidane, on Thursday 09 December 2021, and will be hosted by the agricultural vocational training center in agricultural machinery of Jouggar (El Fahs). CFPAMA is under the supervision of the Agricultural Extension and Training Agency (AVFA), governed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources.
