In order to improve the focus of the project and to cover all aspects of interest to municipalities in measuring sustainability, Local Project Committees are performed simultaneously in each municipality where the pilots are being developed. The technical professionals of the municipalities who are working on the project meet with the stakeholders in person to monitor the performance of the project and give recommendations about the project.

These Local Project Committees are performed in crucial moments for the project. In this case, it was organised to show the urban area and building selected, explaining the reasons and the criteria chosen for the Local Sustainable Neighbourhood Tool and Sustainable Building Tool. In addition, the technical team displayed the Sustainable Assessment Tool (the software which makes possible the generation of contextualised tools for the MED municipalities) and the Collaborative Platform (the website to involve citizens in the decision-making process aimed to identify the best retrofit concept for existing neighbourhoods).

The next Local Project Committee it is foreseen to be performed on September 2023. The technical team of each municipality will present the topics addressed in the Policy Guide elaborated within the project. They will show as well the training system and the e-Learning Platform that will train professionals to create the assessment tools.
