The concept of "Mediterranean fashion" was the topic of discussion at the seminar and business meeting held on 1 December in Alexandria.

Organized by the EU-funded project TEX-MED ALLIANCES, the event brought together fashion experts and designers from 7 countries of the Mediterranean basin to answer the question: is it possible to have a Mediterranean fashion style? 

On November 4th the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Sidon and South Lebanon, partner of MEDSt@rts, organized the public Mid-term Conference at Jiyeh Marina Resort (Sidon).

The hybrid event was attended by institutions, project partners, beneficiaries, companies, stakeholders, microfinance experts and many journalists.

The NEX-LABS project has released the output “Understanding external and internal context for better planning and decision making to create Nexus Driven Open Living Labs (NDOLLs)". The activity was led by Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in Egypt (ASRT) in cooperation with all NEX-LABS partners in Spain, Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Italy and Cyprus. 

Under the funded program of ENI CBC MED of the European Union, the Med Pearls project launched in 2021 a Call for Proposals for Subgrants for the creation of Slow Tourism products across six Mediterranean countries of Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Palestine and Spain.

Narmeen Marji, ICT expert and AR/VR Developer at the Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship and Creativity (JSSREC), holds the program's first introductory lecture on Holography, including its fundamentals, types, uses, available hardware, examples and how the holographic technology will be used within the iHERITAGE project. The presentation is followed by an informative Q&A session between participants. 

Narmeen Marji, ICT expert at the Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship and Creativity (JSSREC), gives a basic overview of the Living Labs Program in Jordan, including an introduction to the iHERITAGE project and a Q&A session with participants from various backgrounds and fields of expertise.

Dr. Hani Hayajneh, UNESCO Chair for Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) at Yarmouk University, delivers a presentation on the UNESCO Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in the framework of the Jordanian iHERITAGE Living Labs Program, covering its aims, organs, lists and registry, operational directives (ODs), fund, obligations, and benefits.
