After more than a year of work, which has resulted in the design of several reuse circuits and awareness plans in the target cities of the Mediterranean basin, the managers of the REUSEMED project have launched the official video that includes all the actions implemented within the project and their results.

Last 2nd of November 2022 , HELIOS Palestinian Partner, University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS),  organised a scientific field visit for the HELIOS trainees to explore the themes and opportunities of Blue Economy in Gaza city.

The participants visited Gaza fishery port and the maritime museum and they had a brief introduction about the fishing means and technical aspects on Blue Economy field in Gaza strip.

The Jordanian partners of the REUSEMED project, the Ministry of Local Administration (MoLA) and the Municipality of New Deir Alaa, have presented the progress in the implementation of the reuse circuits devised within the framework of the project. Specifically, the plan for the country includes five circuits designed following co-design meetings with key players in the local community for compost, clothes, books, furniture and household appliances.

The online platform created is the “agora” that allows the rapprochement and the dialogue between all the actors concerned by the university building energy efficiency and to facilitate the cooperation and co-creation in the Living Lab community.

Last Thursday PROSIM project team from Lead Beneficiary, Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria (ICU), was honoured with the Energy Globe Award 2022 in Tunisia to the best innovative and sustainable project of the year in the country.
