Ghaidaa Dalki, is one of the U-SOLVE subgrant applicants in Jordan. She is working with her team on producing compost using Berkley method which is a fast, efficient, high-temperature, composting technique which will produce high quality compost in 18 days.

The project addresses waste management which is one of the thematic areas and challenges in Jordan as realized through the roadmap study conducted earlier in the project. 

Since the SEACAP 4 SDG Public event “Green and Efficient Cities for a Sustainable Mediterranean” was held during the International Women's Day, to celebrate it the female members of the project including partners and beneficiaries (municipalities representatives) were invited to take part in an interview addressing the theme of this year “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”.

The SEACAP 4 SDG project partners, in collaboration with Tunisian municipalities, institutional entities and selected local experts, organised the public event “Green and Efficient Cities for a Sustainable Mediterranean” on Wednesday March 8th (08.30 am – 1 pm, local time) at Hotel Golden Tulip El Mechtel, in Tunis (Tunisia).
