A short video showing the clean-up activity at Al-Muraq Palace in the village of Al-Kum (Palestine) within “Baladna Ahla" cleaning campaign. The Palestinian Heritage Trail Union implemented the clean-up activity in cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, as part of CROSSDEV - Cultural Routes for Sustainable Social and Economic Development n the Mediterranean - project, funded by the European Union through the ENI CBC MED programme.

REUSEMED in Tunisia consults citizens to implement reuse circuits

The municipality of Sakiet Ezzit in Sfax (eastern Tunisia) and the National Waste Management Agency of Tunisia (ANGED), both partners of REUSEMED project, have started working on the design of the reuse circuits that will be built in the country within the framework of REUSEMED project. Specifically, in the last month they have carried out the research and analysis phase to identify the needs of the population and the demands of the economic and social agents involved in the project.

FruitFlyNet-ii in Italy raises awareness of students on the benefit of smart agriculture to the environment

More than 60 high school students from Campobasso region, Italy, attended the event "Green Deal & Great Skills" held on 6th of April at the Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Food Sciences of Università degli Studi del Molise - University of Molise.

The event visited by different groups of students accompanied by their teachers alternate in the classroom set up for the presentation of FruitFlyNet-ii project.

CRE@CTIVE received 81 proposals for its call for subgrants from MSMEs, artists and designers across the Mediterranean

On March 15th, the CRE@CTIVE call for subgrants concluded, with 250 people registering on the platform and 81 project proposals submitted. The results showed great interest and untapped innovation from the traditional sectors in the Mediterranean region.

CROSSDEV in Jordan: locals bring their tourist services in the Umm Qais’ archeological site

In the rural communities in Jordan, it was not customary for members of the community to sell agricultural or handicraft products to others. Rather, they were offered free of charge as a matter of hospitality and honouring the other, but in the late eighties and nineties there was a change in the view of new sources of income to meet the requirements of life.

PROSIM project about to install drip irrigation systems in Balqa, Jordan

PROSIM project’s partner, National Agriculture Research Centre (NARC) launched a tender on March 20, 2022 for the installation of drip irrigation systems, in green houses and in open field in Balqa (Jordan). The 31st of March 2022, was the final day for receiving the offers. The equipment will serve 35 farmers and cover a total area of 15.5 hectares.
