'This is Europe': ENI CBC Med joins new podcast series of podcasts

Have you ever wondered how people across Europe and beyond are experiencing the results of EU funded projects? Be sure to tune in to the new series of 'This is Europe' podcast with weekly episodes, including “The Power of Social Inclusion” to feature the TEC-MED project on the 13th of October from 10.00 to 10.30 CET.

Under the title “The Power of Social Inclusion”, the episode will highlight the work of the TEC-MED project to develop a drastically new model of care and inclusion for elderly in Lebanon. Psychiatrist and project partner Dr Georges Karam from the Institute for Development, Research, Advocacy and Applied Care (IDRAAC) will explain how it’s all focused on a subject still very much taboo in Lebanese society - mental health.

About Interreg

Interreg is one of the two goals of the EU Cohesion Policy in the 2014-2020 period and it is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). It has a budget of EUR 10.1 billion invested in the several cooperation programmes responsible for managing project funding.
Interreg has three types of programmes:

  • Cross border (60 programmes)
  • Transnational (15 programmes)
  • Interregional (4 programmes)

Interreg contributes around EUR 1 billion to EU external border cooperation programmes supported by the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI).
