CROSSDEV training opportunity: become a tourism professional in Aqaba, Jordan

As part of the CROSSDEV project, partner the Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS) is offering a training opportunity to locals interested in developing their touristic skills, such as English language, communication, best practices for archaeological tours, tourism photography, marketing and social media, and sustainable tourism and hospitality.

This program will enable tourist services providers from the area of Aqaba (Jordan) to improve their individual skills and knowledge and to become advocates of sustainable tourism and cultural/historical heritage.

The training series is expected to start during the first week of October 2021. Dates will be confirmed at a later stage.

Selection criteria

  • Who can apply: Youth, students, service providers and public officers aged 20 to 30 years old.
  • Education level: university or academic, or equivalent experience in the tourism sector.
  • Residence: Aqaba city area.
