INNOMED-UP good practices for Circular Economy: Recovering vegetable waste. Building a temporary bio-architecture structure in the form of an igloo, up-cycling 100 canes.

On 15 June 2021 at the office of The Center for Economic and Social Research (CRESM) in Palermo a public event was organized to present the Trainging Activities aimed at SMEs. At the same time, an Open Workshop for Civil Society was held in the area in front of Nuove Officine Zisa (NOZ), envisaged by the INNOMED-Up Project.

The Workshop was organized by recovering vegetable waste. About 100 canes were used for the participatory construction of a temporary bio-architecture structure in the shape of an igloo. Two political refugees residing in a reception center of the Municipality of Palermo collaborated as conductors of the workshop.
