Naem Mazahrih (National Agricultural Research Cente - NARC - Jordan) for MENAWARA project participates in the webinar "SDG-30 vs COVID-19: Opportunities from combating desertification" organized by Desertification Research Centre, University of Sassari and Asinara National Park, Italy.

The TEC-MED project will start the pilot stage in the next months and Ana María Porcel Gálvez, project coordinator of the TEC-MED project in Spain, explaines how will they do it.

After a year and a half laying the theoretical foundations of the healthcare model, the TEC-MED project will begin in the coming months to put into practice its cross-cultural socio-ethical healthcare model for people over 65 years of age and/or at risk of social exclusion.

On the occasion of the fifth Arab Water Forum (Dubai, 21-23 September 2021) MENAWARA project organized the panel on "Water Security in Mediterranean Region: Sustainable water Reuse Strategies in Agriculture: the strengthening of water governance through innovative actions and technological solutions for the sustainable use of unconventional water.

During the panel, a video on the project was shown.

Public awarenes activity in the municipalities Anabta and Kufr Rumman, Palestine, with representatives from schools. Schools and young people will be a key element to disseminate the pilot action of the DECOST project in this towns, and to ensure the implication of the citizens in the success of the new waste model for organic waste based in community composting.
