First Workshop Unicamillus and TEC-MED: Identification of gaps in the social-care system fordependent elderly people in Italy

TEC-MED Workshop hosted by Saint Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences (UniCamillus)

The aim of the workshop is to present the TEC-MED Model, a social-ethical-care model for elderlypeople dependent or at risk of social exclusion in the Mediterranean basin, and collaborate withproposals for its Action Plan. Representatives from Italian organizations in the field of health andsocial care for elderly people, and the scientific research sector will discuss the model.

UniCamillus as Italian project partner, wants to make its contribution to the validation of thesocio-ethic-charitable pattern, by placing itself as a connecting institution among the severalparties involved. Thanks to its specialization in the medical and health field and its humanitarianvocation, the University will lead the phases of study and pilot by creating synergies among thePublic Institutions, the academic environment and social parties.
