STAND Up! is organising a training for trainers on sustainable business model development. The training will be held in four different sessions during the month of April and it will be conducted by the Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production (ARC-SCP/RAC) with the support of external expert on sustainable business development.

The online event will be kicked off on the 6th of April with the first session. The objective is to build capacities of future trainers that will be training textile and fashion green entrepreneurs on sustainable business model development under STAND Up!.

The training will be done using the brand-new TheSwitchers.org web platform, a learning and business development management system enabling interaction among entrepreneurs, business providers, mentors and financial institutions willing to develop novel business models in the domain of Green and Circular Economy.

The training will consist on a theoretical and hands-on learning methodology with a wide range of tools to support eco-entrepreneurs with the transformation of their ideas into a sustainable and successful business. Based on the business canvas and the lean start-up approach, it integrates environmental aspects and impacts of the company or project in all stages of the business plan and strategy.

Lastly, the green entrepreneur training programme will be organised around five steps to be taken into account when developing a green business model: sketch and set, build, test, implement, measure and improve.
