Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the leading international event on cities and smart urban solutions, will present this year a virtual format under the name of “Smart City Live” in order to adapt its programme to the COVID-19 context.

The 9th edition of the SCEWC, that took place in Barcelona, broke all records to date, featuring 24,399 visitors and 1,010 exhibitors from 146 countries and more than 700 cities. This year, this major event will welcome again the main actors, institutions and international experts on smart cities in a new interactive edition structured in two main blocks: On November 17th a life TV show will be broadcasted through the event website and its social media channels, focussing on the impact of the pandemic on cities. On November 18th the event will offer online workshops and round tables regarding different challenges faced by cities.

SCEWC will be back in 2021 in its full format and it will be jointly held with Smart Mobility Congress and Retail & Brand Experience World Congress in Barcelona from November 16th to 18th.
