Tunisia: NAWAMED to implement living green walls for greywater treatment and reuse
CERTE together with IRIDRA, both partners of NAWAMED project, organized the first technical visit to the TDC/SWM-House (Technical Demonstration Center / Sustainable Water Management House) where the demonstration pilot for water treatment through nature-based solutions is planned to be implemented.
The workshop was the occasion to present the project and the TDC/SWM-House by CERTE to local stakeholders.

The Lebanese partner, Lebanese Centre for Energy Conservation (LCEC), has chosen the Municipality of Tripoli and its cultural center, the Rashid Karami Municipal Cultural Centre, commonly known as Nawfal Palace, to be their case studies in respect to the BEEP project.
Microplastics: the COMMON project puts marine species under observation
Sardines, red mullets, sea breams, cods, anchovies, tuna and red prawns: these are just some of the 116 species affected by marine litter, according to the ISPRA researchers, in the chapter of the book "Plastics in the aquatic environment" published by Springer Nature. The research examines 128 documents on the impact of the marine litter in 329 species, assessing the presence of plastics and microplastics in the gastrointestinal tract to document their ingestion.
