INVESTMED Business Support Organisation, Fondation Diane, tells us about their progress in supporting sustainable MSMEs

At the INVESTMED Mid-term event, Fondation Diane, Business Support Organisation based in Lebanon, tells us about their activities, progress and impact using the INVESTMED subgrant.

They have been supporting the INVESTMED MSMEs by carrying out 1-1 diagnostic sessions, matching them with mentors and providing training sessions on sustainable business managament. 

At the INVESTMED Mid-term event, MSME Le Joyau d'Olive based in Lebanon explains their business plans under the INVESTMED project.

At the INVESTMED Mid-term event, OurGhema, a social enterprise based in Tunisia led by CEO Yosser Belghith, explains her progress under the INVESTMED project.

Launched in 2018 Ourghema is a cultural coworking café which works with the youth in the region to innovate and bring social change, boost social entrepreneurship through the different incubation and support programs. At the same time, they provide a safe space for youth and women, to study, work and innovate.

At the INVESTMED Mid-term event, Westerwelle Haus Tunis, represented here by Alaa Eddine Abdessalem, a Business Support Organisation based in Tunisia, tells us about their activities, progress and impact using the INVESTMED subgrant.

They have supported the 14 MSMEs under the INVESTMED project by providing tailored suppport, 1-1 sessions, and made them part of the entrpreneur network in Tunisia.

In this video, Nurhan Rani, Fundraising and International Relations Co-ordinator Ithaka Alexandria as she explains how their start-up is working on a mobile app to connect solo backpackers and travellers around Egypt, using the Investmed Project subgrant.

She's talking here at the INVESTMED Mid-term event where 41 beneficiaries gathered in Barcelona to boost sustainable entrepreneurship in the Southern Mediterranean.

In this video, Ahmed Elattar explains the progress Egyptomania (umbrella company, Egypt Day Tours) have made under the INVESTMED project using the subgrant.

They have been able to launch their website, contact with a shipping provider, and are making headway in their gateway payment system to allow for international orders, bringing Egypt to the rest of the world.
