BESTMEDGRAPE: how will the project create business opportunities from grape pomaces?
On the first of September 2019, the BESTMEDGRAPE project was launched in 5 countries (Italy, France, Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan), aiming at creating new business opportunities by transferring to potential entrepreneurs the scientific know-how on the sustainable use of grape pomace to manufacture cosmeceutical and nutraceutical products.

Last Tuesday, August 5th, the Second Vice-President and Member of the Council of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture, Rubén Martínez Dalmau, and the Member of the Council of Finance and Economic Model, Vicent Soler, of the Valencian Regional Government (GVA), signed an agreement to promote the use of the “Palacio de Calatayud” as a pilot building for the BEEP project.

A massive explosion rocked the Lebanese capital city of Beirut on Tuesday evening, leaving at least 70 dead and thousands injured.

COMMON project: a new laboratory in Tunisia to analyse the impact of marine litter
A whole day dedicated to the prevention of marine litter and awareness raising on the topic, starting from the research laboratories and ending on the beaches.
