MEDSt@rts: the Chamber of Achaia, Greece is looking for an external auditor
The Chamber of Achaia is looking for an external auditor for MEDSt@rts project who shall execute the tasks in accordance with the call of proposal published here (English and Greek). The estimated contract period is 22 months.
The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is June 22nd 2020.

JOHUD, Jordanian partner of the MedTOWN project, launched in April 2020, the Goodwill Family Relief Fund in response to the economic impact of the #COVID19 crisis and the repercussions facing some of the country’s impoverished families, particularly those with no incomes, with members with disabilities or children without a parent.
Energy efficiency: learn more about the Egyptian BEEP case study "Cordahi Building"
Cordahi Building which is a part of the Cordahi complex, is privately owned and developed by Sigma Properties; a real estate developer specialized in the development and management of heritage-listed buildings. Sigma Properties – an associate partner - has agreed to involve Cordahi Building as one of the two BEEP case studies for the energy rehabilitation process. Due to neglect and lack of maintenance from previous owners, the complex was in desperate need of renovation and restoration.
Getting started and thriving despite the obstacles: ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM kick-off meeting
On last Wednesday, 3rd June 2020 we held ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM online kick-off meeting. One of the big highlights of the session was the high level of attendance: 85 people, which manifested how important is the agriculture for the region and also emphasized how easy it is to spread the word and connect with stakeholders in digital spaces.

Palestine: Masar Ibrahim Al-Khalil (MIAK), partner of CROSSDEV, launches sub-grants for sustainable tourism service providers
CROSSDEV partner Masar Ibrahim Al-Khalil (MIAK) launches sub-grants to establish the service providers of its sustainable tourism project along the new area of the trail from Beit Mersim to Battir, in Palestine.
A total of 11 sub-grants are aimed at home stays, women centres and MSMEs to provide hikers & tourists with hospitality, food, information, etc.
BEEP project: discover the Egyptian pilot building “Horreya Center for Creativity” in Alexandria
The Horreya Center for Creativity, involved in the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the public sector, has agreed with BEEP project partners in Egypt to select this building as one of the two Egyptian case studies. The heritage listed building of Horreya Center for Creativity is located within the old center of Alexandria city. It is considered as one of the earliest cultural centers in Egypt, and the first one in Alexandria. This building that was built in 1887 is characteristic of the late nineteenth century.
Call for tenders: MedSNAIL project is looking for external audit services in Tunisia
The University of Sfax, Tunisian partner in MedSNAIL project (“Sustainable Networks for Agro-food Innovation Leading in the Mediterranean”), is looking for an external auditor in charge of expenditure and revenue verification.
The project implementation period is 36 months (starting date: 01 September 2019 - ending date: 31 August 2022).
The language of the contract and all written communications, including reports, between the Auditor and the Project Partner (or Lead Beneficiary if it were needed), shall be English.
