Meeting between representatives of InnovAgroWoMed and AQUACYCLE & CLIMA projects: Together we are more efficient!

In order to strengthen the synergies between the different projects of the ENI CBC Med Program and to explore the different common axes and characteristics for possible collaborations and to learn from each other's experiences and good practices, the Center of Arab Women for Training and Researches “CAWTAR”, Tunisian partner of the InnovAgroWoMed project, represented by Hedi Bchir, Project Manager; Hana Trabelsi, the Communication Team Leader of the project; and Nifel Mahjoub Social Media Manager, received at CAWTAR office, Mr. Fadhel Mehiri, a technology transfer engineer and Head of the "Technology Transfer and Innovation Unit" at Tunis International Center for Environmental Technologies (CITET).

M. Fadhel Mehiri is also the Project Manager of two (02) ENI CBC MED Program 3-year-projects implemented by the CITET, namely AQUA CYCLE, funded under the priority B.4.1 “Water efficiency”, which is set to “bring an eco-innovative wastewater treatment technology” and CLIMA, under priority B.4.2 “Waste management” which “aims to cope with environmental, economic and social problems of organic waste mismanagement in three (03) Mediterranean countries, developing policy tools like integrated Municipal Waste Management Plans, innovative technical solutions such as the compost drum and two improved pilot compost sites”.

This meeting was an opportunity to get to know each other and to present the 03 mentioned projects. Each representative got a better knowledge of the priorities, objectives, and state of progress with the aim to explore all possible synergies and opportunities of collaboration between the two organizations.
