MEDISS kick-off meeting

The kick-off meeting  of the MEDISS project took place in Cagliari at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Cagliari (21-22 October) and in Arborea (22 October) - at the Cooperative Producers (pilot site of the project for Italy), in the presence of all partners, stakeholders, and representatives of the ENI CBC Med Programme’s Managing Authority, i.e. Autonomous Region of Sardinia.

MEDISS (“Mediterranean Integrated System for Water Supply”) aims to contribute to a sustainable water balance in the target areas, increasing resilience to water stress and climate change by reducing water and soil salinity through non-conventional water supply.

Six partners are involved in the project: Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group and Jericho authorities (Palestine), Aqaba Water Company (Jordan), Institute des Régions Arides (Tunisia), CRENoS and Enas with the local stakeholders Cooperativa Produttori Arborea, Comune di Arborea (Italy).
