Med Pearls organises a new B2B event: Strengthening the Mediterranean Tourism Sector

As part of the ongoing task to promote the Mediterranean as a slow tourism destination and to strengthen the ties between Mediterranean countries and companies, the Med Pearls project is organising a B2B networking event for tourism agencies: Strengthening the Mediterranean Tourism Sector Networking Event.

The event, which will take place on Thursday 27th of May at 10:00 am (GMT+2), will gather travel companies from the Med Pearls partner territories and will give them the chance to interact and meet with each-other. Whether it is to develop further business relationships, share good practices or potentially start joint cross-selling and other business opportunities.

It will consist of a Business-to-Business Networking event where participants will be able to check in advance the profiles of the other companies and pre-schedule meetings with them. Each meeting will last around 20-minutes with 5-minute breaks, and in total participants will be able to attend 8 interviews during the day. In addition to this, prior and during the whole session, companies will be able to get in touch with other participants through the internal chat.

The event is addressed to Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and incoming travel agencies from:

  • Al-Iskandanyah (Egypt)
  • Catalonia (Spain)
  • Jordan
  • Kentriki Makedonia (Greece)
  • Lazio (Italy)
  • Palestine
  • Sicily (Italy)
