PERSEPHONE is promoted by a network including the Italian National Technological Cluster for Heritage-related innovation (TICHE) and two national Opera Theatres that want to invest in ICT for smart logistics and asset valorisation by including startup in the project.
Based on this premise, the project will cover four different areas of connection between ICT and Heritage that will be used as cross-roads among different Euromed clusters and value-chains in traditional sectors and in emerging sectors:
a) Neuroimaging, AI and Heritage maintenance
b) ICT for Smart Warehousing of Theatres, Museums and Private/Public Collections
c) Immersive and Augmented reality for Art-based Learning

Design implementation strategies, set up models and test pilot actions to combine tourism with the promotion and protection of cultural heritage by getting value (and values) out from closed institutions (sanatories, prisons, mental hospitals), that can become a change driver in innovating tourism
Set up, test and implement negotiation, mediation, participation and conflict resolution models in the context of tourism, culture, local needs and aspirations and economic growth in the context of cultural and natural heritage;

Develop and test new models to link Heritage, Creative Activities, Innovation and Entrepreneurship to validate culture routes and main cultural attractors (theatres, archeological sites, etc) as a holistic driver for local development by enacting and empowering young people and local communities in creating and developing benefit startups
2. Implementing transnational strategies for sustainable and accessible heritage by adopting reverse mentoring and flipped incubation models
3. Building awareness on the importance of heritage and cultural values as a development factor for economic sectors like agriculture, manufacture, health and social services in the ENIMED area
