AOWD
Anaerobic Organic Waste Digester
B.4 Environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation
B.4.2: Reduce municipal waste generation, promote source-separated collection and its optimal exploitation, in particular its organic component

* Create applicative and cheap portable digester unit for society,
*Promote concepts and applications of AOWD (near zero waste) among food courts, food processing industries, municipality dumping sites, livestock ranches, vegetables and fruits farms (plants residues)...etc.
*A demo prototype/s will be used to demonstrate transforming organic waste to compost (organic fertilizers) and biogas to generate electricity.
* Anaerobic digestion is associated to the production of several greenhouse gases, namely carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide,
* Reduce the outstanding volume of organic waste that consider as one of the epidemic problems affecting environment, health, underground water,...etc,
* Produce compost which is considered environmentally friendly fertilizer for the organic planting,
* Using biogas to generate electricity,
* Insect ellimination at the storage pit,
* Encourage enterpreneurs to adopt this green technology.
* Reducing amount of generated organic waste,
* Promote using the compost for the reclamation desert lands
* Biogas resulting by anaerobic digestion is a source of renewable energy because it replaces fossil energy,
* Sustainable management of organic waste,
* Organic waste processing for competitive prices,
* Additional income,
* Saving the cost of fossil energies.
