Gentis Foundation has wide experience in providing VET services to young people. Inclusion and training services are provided mostly through Lo Pont Adult training centre (also certified as second chance school) which is specialized in the provision of formal and non-formal trainings aimed at the return to the formal education system or facilitating access to employment of young adults, including non-accompanied migrants aged between 16 and 24 years old that have experienced school dropout. Lo Pont adult training center has broad experience in shaping a training model that integrates formal education, labor training and access to employment in a context of rurality. Its approach is built on the principles of collective work, involving young people at risk of exclusion in processes of co-creation, community engagement, hands-on training and personalized support.
