The GREENinMED project aims to upgrade the eco-innovation capacities of Mediterranean SMEs in the tourist accommodation sector, in order to make them more efficient in the use of water and energy and to support their competitiveness and sustainability.

Within the framework of this project, the French cluster Capenergies has launched a call to select a service provider for a mission of technical support for the implementation of water and energy-saving solutions in Mediterranean tourist accommodations. This mission is composed of 2 lots.

The first lot consists in the accompaniment of tourist accommodations towards the adoption of the best solutions to realise energy and water savings within the framework of the GREENinMED “Innovation Vouchers” mechanism (3 months: May to August 2021). The Innovation Vouchers’ objective is to select up to 10 innovative tourist accommodation SMEs based or operating mainly in the South Region (PACA) or in Corsica in order to support them in a more efficient management of water and energy consumption. These tourist accommodations must choose one of the following service and support activities: savings potential from innovative solutions; feasibility of the innovative solution identified by the candidate; framework of implementation of the project; and other advisory and support services aiming to facilitate the adoption of innovative solutions in tourist accommodation structures. 

A second lot involves support to tourist accommodations and companies proposing innovative solutions in the field of energy efficiency and water savings to the intention of the first, within the framework of the cross-border eco-innovation window set up by the GREENinMED project (15 months: April 2021 to June 2022). This window aims to provide an assistance to French SMEs eligible to the services of the GREENinMED project, and more specifically:

• tourist accommodations based or operating mainly in the South Region (PACA) or in Corsica, wishing to implement innovative solutions proposed by a company based or operating mainly in one of the geographical areas concerned by the project activities, in order to improve the management of their consumption of water/energy; 
• French startups, SMEs or very small businesses wishing to develop, test, launch or deploy an innovative solution (from TRL 7/8) allowing to realise energy and water savings with a tourist accommodation in the geographical areas concerned by the project activities (in France, Spain and Israel). 

The deadline for the submission of candidacies is April 26th, 2021.
