Today we get to meet Alexandra, who is representing the iHERITAGE project partner, Universidade do Algarve!

 The University of Algarve (UAlg) is a Portuguese public higher education institution that aims to strengthen the ties established with regional business and with public and private organizations, encouraging knowledge transfer and contributing to sustainable development that has an impact across the community. 

As iHERITAGE partners, UAlg is enthusiastic about the promotion and registration of the Mediterranean Diet as an intangible cultural heritage, recognized by the UNESCO in 2013, in order to rescue and safeguard traditions, instruments, cultural artefacts, and practices by utilizing novel innovative tools and technical instruments.
