Palestine : GIMED lance un appel à formateurs en entrepreneuriat vert

The Palestinian partner of the GIMED (Green Impact MED) project, Leaders International, is looking for green trainers to conduct capacity building workshops addressed to young and women entrepreneurs in the green and circular economy. In this sense, they are launching a call for the selection of experts who will be responsible for giving the necessary training to entrepreneurs selected by GIMED and support them in managing their green businesses.

The capacity building program will consist on 10-day workshops held between April and June 2021. The responsibilities of the experts will be a delivery of a comprehensive training outline, development of training materials based on the methodology to be provided by Leaders International in a multitude of topics such as eco-design, access to finance or impact management.

The selected candidates will also participate in the selection of 20 out of 40 early-stage entrepreneurs to progress into the next phase of the project. In this sense, the intensive training program provided through the workshops is meant to allow GIMED participants the necessary skills and comprehensive knowledge to be able to operate whilst understanding local market needs.

GIMED is an EU-funded project under the ENI CBC MED programme which is implemented in Spain, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, Egypt and Italy. GIMED supports green entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean by fostering job creation and economic growth. It strives to boost the development of eco-innovative ventures in order to create employment and drive the green and circular economy in the region.
