CROSSDEV informative event and press conference in Palermo, Sicily
CROSSDEV is holding an informative event with press conference in Palermo, Sicily, on Februrary 26th, 2020.
On this the occasion, CISP representatives and the Sicily Region Tourism Department will sign a Memorandum of Understanding, proof of the commitment of the Sicily Region, which is also an Associated Partner of CROSSDEV, towards the scopes and the success of this 3-years project.
CROSSDEV is working together in collaboration with institutions, communities, businesses and other local stakeholders to enhance the natural, historic and cultural beauties of selected areas along the Via Selinuntina: Castelvetrano-Selinunte and Sambuca di Sicilia.
The final goal of the project is helping the socio-economic development of the areas through the creation of new routes of sustainable tourism.
The event will also see the participation of Mr. Antonio Barone, Director of the Phoenician Route, and Ms. Emanuela Panke, President of Iter Vitis. Both are Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and will inspire and lead CROSSDEV in its important goals in the wonderful Sicilian region.
