EU-funded MYSEA project kick off press conference on 15 February 2021

The MYSEA project is co-funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC MED Programme 2014-2020. MYSEA project fully transposes the Programme objectives to fight poverty and promote social inclusion by increasing the employability of 1000 youth, women and NEETs in the agrifood and waste management industries in five countries on the Mediterranean: Italy, Lebanon, Jordan, Greece and Tunisia.

On next 15 February 2021, 11h00  – 12h45 (GMT), the MYSEA project will be launched on social media with the official Press. The streaming link will be available to allow various groups of stakeholders and the general public to connect online. The event will promote a collective reflection on future challenges and opportunities and will deepen the centrality of cross-border cooperation and partnership to achieve the objective to promote social inclusion and sustainable local governance by boosting the green and blue economy sectors.

An inaugural speech will open the kick-off Conference which will see the participation of keynote speakers, among them, Vincent Ernoux, Representative of Branch office for the Western Mediterranean – Valencia, ENI CBC MED Programme; Elisabetta Bianca Melandri, President CIES Onlus and Loredana Gionne, International Cooperation Director, CIES Onlus.

MYSEA is a 30 months project, with a total budget of €3.6 million and it is financed by the European Union with a 90% contribution.
