السياحة المستدامة: شركاء Co-Evolce4BG يُقدّمون بعض نتائج الدراسة ويناقشون الأنشطة المستقبلية خلال إجتماع اللجنة التوجيهية الثالث

The 3rd Steering Committee of Co-Evolve4BG was organised on the 20th of January. The meeting was attended by all partners and was hosted by the Lazio Region and opened by the Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer (INSTM), as project coordinator.

The first session was dedicated to discussing administrative achievements and issues with the intervention of Ms Aida Daghouth Assili from Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS), who informed partners that the Interim Report is being assessed and the field evaluation will be issued after a meeting with the project coordinator.

The second session was focused on discussing the progress of the study phase of the project, in particular on the identification of impacts (threats) and opportunities (enabling factors) at Mediterranean scale and at pilot areas scale. During this session, the Arnaldo Marín, from the University of Murcia, highlighted the 16 reports needed from each country participating on the project summarising the general aspects in relation to the Threats & Enabling Factors. The University of Murcia will gather all the reports in order to conduct the analysis at the MED scale. 
 

Next section was devoted to presenting the steps to be taken to implement the test phase. Dimitris Kokkinos from Region of East Macedonia and Thrace, in charge of this work package, introduced the schedule of the activities to be carried out in the seven pre-selected pilot coastal areas (Hergla-Monastir region (Tunisia); Djerba (Tunisia); Circeo National Park (Italy); Alexandroupoli and Samothraki (Greece); Murcia (Spain); Batroun (Lebanon); (Type Coast Nature Reserve (Lebanon)). The pilot actions will be implemented to improve the management of coastal touristic areas, based on the principles of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) and Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) in each pilot area.

Finally, Fundación Valenciaport, leader of communication, presented the progress made on the dissemination activities during the last months and also presented the forthcoming activities for the next six months, emphasising the importance of the active participation of all partners in the communication tasks.
