The clustering event is being organized by five projects addressed to the ‘Water Efficiency’ Thematic Priority of the ENI CBC Med Programme: AQUACYCLE, MEDISS, MENAWARA, NAWAMED and PROSIM.   

The event is planned as a Special Session, with the theme Sustainable Management of Water in the Mediterranean, during the 17th International Conference on Environmental Science & Technology (CEST2021) Conference, which will take place in Athens, Greece during 1 to 4 September 2021.

The Special Session is open to presentations to any and all ongoing projects and research initiatives addressed to the same thematic area, that are willing to explore synergies on the basis of water sustainability values and in assisting progress, prosperity and good neighbourliness in the Mediterranean area.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts to the Conference is 31 May 2021, with a possible extension for abstracts submitted for presentation during the Special Session.
